The last four years have been a labor of love. We fought tirelessly to save the state of Illinois, to give hardworking taxpayers a voice, to create effective, efficient government that serves the people, rather than the insiders and special interests.

I’m proud of what we have accomplished. We dismantled the regulations that hold job creators back. We delivered education funding reform, criminal justice reform, and made Illinois a leader in mental health services, clean energy jobs, and digitizing government.

But there is still more work to be done — the change we sought for Illinois is still the change we need.

I want to thank all of you for your support. Together, we have laid the foundation to make Illinois a place where our children and grandchildren can have the future they deserve.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and this great state.

God bless the great state of Illinois, and God bless America.
